Wolverhampton-based business software firm, Technology Management celebrates the announcement of its managing director James Crowter achieving Microsoft Most Valued Professional status - one of less than a hundred people recognised across the globe for their exceptional technical expertise and talent within their community for Microsoft Dynamics and the only one from the UK working here with Microsoft’s Dynamics NAV business management software product.
MVPs (Most Valued Professionals) reside in more than 90 countries, represent over 30 different languages and cover nearly 90 Microsoft technologies so James’s award for his work in the field is a significant achievement. Individuals receiving the MVP award do not work for Microsoft nor do they represent the company or any other company with whom they work. Microsoft MVP's are independent people that are chosen based upon their accomplishments within technical communities.
Through his personal blog dynamicsbusiness.co.uk, by being an active contributor within Microsoft’s online community and to the product team at Microsoft, delivering speeches at conferences across the world as well as providing valuable input into Microsoft user groups and inspiring customers, James receives this individual recognition. The team at Technology Management are delighted by this designation of gratitude from Microsoft.
James Crowter, explains: “I have a real passion for helping businesses compete better and grow; using software to close the productivity gap by enabling working smart and realising the true benefits that robust business process based on affordable IT can bring. Working every day as I do with Microsoft products, I know how their solutions can be applied to deliver the efficiencies so needed, especially amongst the small to medium sized firms that make over 50% of the economy.
As an early adopter of new technology, who started to work professionally with Microsoft Dynamics NAV in 1995, James has demonstrated leadership qualities, voluntarily sharing knowledge and advice and actively communicating his experiences to other technology users.
James continued: “I always focus on the ‘Why’ well before the ‘How’. Technology should be used to achieve an organisation’s business objectives. If you understand why a business needs a particular process, the best solution naturally follows and may involve software but equally it may not. It’s the business gains behind what can be achieved by implementing innovative strategies and technologies that drives me. Helping to transform businesses into truly world class organisations, able to compete and win on the global stage, is massively satisfying.”
“I am honoured to be given the status of Microsoft MVP for my work with Microsoft Dynamics and I will continue to share my experiences and thoughts to benefit the business community.”
