Caterlink and Marcantonio chose Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Technology Management, to implement Dynamics Food - Microsoft Dynamics NAV developed specifically for the food & beverage industry.
With sites in Cornwall and Essex, Caterlink and Marcantonio supply an extensive range of ice cream cones, flavourings, decorations, glassware, disposables and point of sale materials to ice cream manufacturers and retailers, patisseries, bakers, restaurants and food service wholesalers across the UK.
Continued growth and expansion meant that their existing systems and paper-based processes could no longer support the group’s day to day operations and reporting.
Dynamics Food - Microsoft Dynamics NAV developed specifically for the food & beverage industry - will provide Caterlink and Marcantonio with a complete business management software solution covering finance, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. It will enable them to:
- speed up sales order entry - with complete stock visibility and availability;
- improve delivery efficiency - with integrated delivery planning & documentation;
- optimise stock levels through more accurate forecasting, stock replenishment and visibility of short shelf life products;
- automate quality control processes, compliance, traceability and product specifications;
- have one single source of information for improved management reporting, analysis and decision-making
