Back in September 2021, we announced that we had become a “Great Place to Work” certified company. A great achievement that validates and celebrates the workplace culture we have built over the years and one we were very proud to have realised.

Fast forward two weeks, and we then announced that we had been ranked 20th out of 42 UK’s Best Workplaces™ in Tech 2021 in the medium-sized company category. A great achievement in itself – and one made even better by the fact that was the 3rd time we had made it on the list in 3 years of entering. Plus our ranking was over a third higher than last time, despite more than double the number of entrants.

So fast forward again, this time to April 2022, and we are even more pleased to announce that we have been ranked 29th out of 105 of UK’s Best Workplaces in the medium-sized company category – across the whole of UK industry! Back in 2019, we ranked 39th out of 54 in the same category.

To determine the UK's Best Workplaces list, Great Place to Work perform rigorous evaluations of hundreds of employee survey responses alongside extensive company submissions on company culture and workplace policies and procedures.

James Crowter, Managing Director explains, “It’s quite an undertaking being involved in Great Place to Work – with both the employee survey and all the information we have to prepare. But without a doubt, it’s an investment worth making. We always discover something new that helps improve how we recruit, retain and develop our staff.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains “A great workplace is more than lavish perks, fancy parties and amazing benefits. While those elements are present in many Best Workplace™ organisations, at its core a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs; and the extent to which they experience camaraderie with their colleagues.

James Crowter continues, “We’re a people-based business as our staff help manufacturers and distributors across the UK use world-leading Microsoft software to deliver tangible process improvement. If we focus on making sure our people are fulfilled and happy, they in turn will make sure our customers are happy. It’s clear that whatever’s happening on the inside of an organisation is felt on the outside by the customers.  Continued recognition as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces is a key indicator to ensure we are doing our best for both our staff and, in turn, our customers”.
