Coronavirus creating barriers? Microsoft Teams will keep you productive

With business events, sporting events, international flights and more being cancelled, it’s safe to say that coronavirus (COVID-19) has sparked health concerns across the globe.

So, what are we all supposed to do? Do we cancel all our business meetings? Stop meeting customers? Let new opportunities fall by the wayside? Absolutely not!

Microsoft Teams is available to us all for free for 6 months

Microsoft recently announced the wellbeing of employees and supporting customers in dealing with business impact is their top priority. As a result, they have made Microsoft Teams available to everybody for free for six months, in a move to support public health and safety.

I recently created a quick video based on how you can stay productive while remote working with Microsoft Teams. The video covers a range of features including Teams calls, chat-based communications and maintaining a collaborative team effort.

Teams isn’t a coronavirus stop-gap, we’ve been preaching the benefits for a long time! Over Christmas, we evolved all our meeting rooms into Teams rooms. Multiple screens allow us to retain vital face-to-face communications.
