Sales Order Agent in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the soon-to-be hot topic - what is it?

Cast your mind back to the hype around AI when it first emerged and the excitement around its capabilities. When we look at the significant impact that Microsoft Copilot is having on business processes, it’s safe to say that we weren’t wrong to be excited! But what’s still yet to come for AI capability in Dynamics 365 Business Central and what will the impact be? 

The soon-to-be hot topic for AI in Dynamics 365 Business Central will be Agents and their ability to automate key business processes with just a few simple prompts. Agents are AI-tools that improve and automate several of the business processes within an organisation without the need for major manual input. Agent for Sales Orders can be created in Copilot Studio to automate routine tasks. Simply ask the agent to run a process using natural language and it will take care of the next steps, helping your sales team focus on knowing particular codes and which field to enter them in.
