They'll be able to easily access everything they need from their Accountant Role Centre without adding to your costs. The Accountant Role Centre gives a dashboard view of real-time figures, providing your accountant with quick and easy access to everything they need. Whether that's opening reports or viewing financial statements in Excel, or navigating to your business' Posted Documents, everything they need is in one place and won't cost you a penny.
Getting your external accountant set up is easy and straightforward.
All you need to do is, head to the Users page and select "Invite External Accountant", there you'll find an email already written and ready to go, just add your accountant's work email and send the invitation to them. It's as simple as that and can also be done by your IT administrator in Azure.
Once the accountant has accepted the invite, you simply need to head into the relevant company in Business Central, then on the Users page choose "Update Users from Microsoft 365", this will add the newly licenced accountant as a user with permissions in the relevant company. If your accountant needs to access more than one company then you will need to manually update this.
