When there are so many Microsoft Dynamics partners to choose from, it can be difficult to know which one is right for you and your business. Every partner will claim they’re the best, and that’s fair, but how do they actually prove that?

Well, when you are a Microsoft Dynamics partner, you can earn competencies that help to demonstrate your experience and skillsets. This way customers and prospects can differentiate you from other partners and know they can trust the work that you do.

All the Microsoft competencies are earned by a combination of having the right people trained and certified (through examinations) in the right product areas as well as being able to demonstrate repeatable revenue from successful projects – again for each relevant product area.

So here at Tecman, we’ve got a whole stack of competencies that speak volumes about the depth and breadth of our experience.

As a Dynamics 365 Business Central partner, we are (and have been for many, many years) a gold certified partner. Similarly, for Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing & Customer Service (aka Dynamics CRM) we are a silver certified partner (it’s the certification called “Cloud Business Applications”).

And with our customers wanting to take full advantage of the entire Microsoft product suite, we’ve also needed to become certified in

  • deploying Dynamics 365 in the cloud (the platform of choice for most customers these days)
  • integrating Dynamics 365 with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for improved communication and collaboration
  • data analytics for more informed decision making with better reporting and dashboards through products like Microsoft Power BI

Plus, with our focus on helping businesses in manufacturing and distribution, we are also Gold certified in Application Development – with our range of Microsoft certified apps specifically for that business sector.

But where does this new “Advanced Specialisation” fit in? Essentially, it builds on our existing competencies i.e. you can’t get an Advanced Specialisation without a relevant competency.

So in our case, our newly achieved “Advanced Specialisation for Small and Midsize Business Management”, builds on our track record of implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central for small and medium-sized businesses and our Gold competency for Enterprise Resource Planning. You can see the award HERE on our profile on Microsoft’s “Find a Partner” portal.

So if you're looking for a Dynamics 365 Partner for your ERP or CRM project and ongoing support, make sure you check out their Microsoft competencies! It will help ensure you find a partner with the full set of skills and expertise your project will demand.
