The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2025 Wave 1 Release Plan is here, bringing a host of new features designed to enhance your business operations.
As always, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central wave release must include Copilot. Microsoft’s AI tool will now help you summarise outstanding tasks in Business Central. Its chat feature is becoming more knowledgeable in add-on apps, and it will assist in enhancing purchase order line matching, improving efficiency and saving you stime and money. Additionally, Copilot will now suggest gas emissions on sustainability journals, which is great for regions with mandatory regulations and is sure to be utilised in time.
For those in manufacturing, there are enhanced analytics and the ability to multi-select when adding items to a Bill of Materials. Business Central will also now handle production output with warehouse putaways, addressing a long-standing gap.
Other new features include Power BI reports available with subscription billing, progress in Sales Order Agents, further enhancements with Shopify integration, the ability to preview sandbox environments, and a range of improved usage features.
